Melissa’s comments about her shoot:

i was born and raised in a small town in northern va. i live basically in the middle of no where and with no siblings it made things really hard and lonely. i was kind of awkward and didnt really know how to connect with people. which is why, when i was 4, i started horseback riding. horeses in general are a passion of mine. everything about horses and riding im totally infatuated with. lol.

i was always a very good kid until i got into high school, then i dont know what the fuck happened to me, ha. i started getting in trouble a lot… nothhing bad really, just for stupid little things like putting icy hot on all the toilet seats at school so everyones asses would burn lol. quite funny in my opinion, but not the school boards. but other than that one little prank, and a few other things that i would rather not mention, i mostly just got in trouble for stupid things like talking bacl and not doing what im told… i dont like people to tell me what i can and cannot do. if youtell me not to do somethin, that makes me just wanna do it more. hehe.

my mom always had high hopes of me following in her footsteps and become a dancer, which, obviously, is never happening. ha. i lost track of my entire life as soon as i got into high school. sad but true. but i also found myself during high school as well, so i guess it wasnt all that bad. i realized how much i love everything from being weird and going to parties, as well as work my ass off.

i started working at at a resturant when i was 15 years old and i still hold the same job today, except im a server instead of a host now. i love where i work and i wouldnt change it for the world. my fave is when locals come in and they sit and talk to me for hours on end about anything and everything, my boss likes it too because it brings in more money since the keep buying drinks. lol . but thats besides that point.

i guess you could say im really fond of listening to people and what they have to say. i like to hear about other people and their lives and how they view the world, is that weird? haha. oh well.
